Our Vision:
The vision of The Center for Cancer Wellness, Candy's Place is to be the leading resource for non-medical cancer support and services in the Wyoming Valley region. 

Our Mission:
To provide SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS and their loved ones through a safe, non-threatening, loving, home-like environment.

  

Why would anyone want to volunteer?

It all comes down to one thing:  Making a difference in the lives of others. 

Volunteers are the absolute center of our organization here at Candy's Place.  We have a strong volunteer team and we could not operate without them. 

In 2012, our volunteers logged over 2,000 hours.  More than 12 volunteers cover the phones during our 40 hour work week (9:30-5:30pm, Monday through Friday).  They also welcome participants for all the movement classes as well as helping in any and all other areas where their individual gifts and talents can be utilized for the purposes of The Center.
